A stunning set featuring 16 of 17 volumes; "Confession" edition is missing. Each book features a beautiful Victorian binding in blue, black and gold. Light rubbing to edges; stains on several rear covers. Floral endpapers. Tissue protected frontispieces. A few slightly loose pages, small tears and cracked hinges. Bindings are otherwise sound; pages are crisp and clean. Scarce collection.
