Antique Stanley USA No.7 Jointer Plane Two Pat Dates
Circa estimated 1900 - 1910
A vintage Stanley USA No.7 jointer plane with two pat dates, smaller 1in brass depth adjuster, low knob & Stanley on lateral lever, presented in clean used condition.
Fitted with a Record England tungsten cutter with a good working length remaining.
Note - observations - the axel pin that secures the Y lever has been replaced with a cotter pin. The lever cap screws head appears a fraction undersized for the caps hole, however it is securing the cap down. Back iron slightly misshapen so is a very snug fit to cutter.
Plane has features that suggest a Type 9, however please do your own research.
Has usage & oxidation marks commensurate to its considerable age.
Please see images for further condition details.
Dimensions approx. Weight 3378g
