Circa 1930s - 1940s, this antique lighting fixture is a gorgeous find indeed. The highly detailed large sized hobnail edged clear glass accenting against the smooth shiny curved white colored sides are a wonderful combination. The design is very characteristic of the Art Deco styling of the 1930s-40s era, This unique piece is sure to add a touch of sophistication and originality to your home while providing functional lighting for decades to come.

CONDITION- Refurbished/Reclaimed)- The metal mounting base is the original as well as the glass components and most of the hardware. The 2 bulb socket cluster, wires and a few pieces of the hardware have been updated/replaced with new for functionality. The antique glass components and metal Chrome plated base have been professionally cleaned and polished and the light is now ready to enjoy for decades more to come!
There are tiny natural air bubbles in the glass throughout and some
more pronounced bubbles on one side in particular (pictured), and a few minor scrapes and scuffs from use, PLEASE NOTE- There is slight patina and plating ware scattered on the base and the finial has ware as well (pictured), there is some aging patina on some of the smaller hardware pieces as well.
Overall the glass is in beautiful condition considering its age. Please be aware there are wonderful natural textures, striated air bubbles and glass waviness/imperfections from the manufacturing process of the glass shade. NOTE- There are some scrapes/scuffs in the shade as stated above (pictured), also there are a couple of lines by the finial hole (pictured) but these are called folds and are natural lined imperfections in the glass (these are not fractures).
The metal mounting base has aging, spotting, and scrapes/scratches from decades of use and storage but very minor, the brilliant chrome shine polished back nicely and the base looks beautiful with its naturally earned antique imperfections.

The light is absolutely gorgeous with just very minor typical age related cosmetic flaws scattered throughout the light, but overall a beautiful surviving piece of functional art that was saved and brought back to life to enjoy for decades more to come!
