Antique Horseshoe & Dog Primitive Cast Iron Picture Frame, Boys & Pug Dog
An Antique (circa 1870s or so) Primitive Picture or Mirror Frame. The Frame is made of cast iron and is decorated with a horseshoe & a dog. It has a cabinet card cut to fit the opening, it is a charming picture of two young boys with their pug dog. Overall dimensions are 11 1/2" x 7" with a sight size of 4 1/2" x 3 3/4" measuring above the dog. The Frame doesn't have glass. The Picture Frame is in good overall condition, the only thing to note is a small piece missing in the back, the photo stays in place fine, it could use a little thicker cardboard back.
