Up for sale is a highly collectible, authentic 19th-century Masonic Knight Kadosh ceremonial regalia dagger. This striking piece belongs to the higher degrees of the Scottish Rite (30th Degree) and features classic, intricate fraternal memento mori symbolism meant to serve as a reminder of mortality.

Design & Symbolism:

• Hilt / Pommel: Features a beautifully cast, smooth brass human skull resting directly above the handle collar.

• Crossguard: Cast in brass as stylized crossed human tibiae (bones) intersecting with central hourglass motifs.

• Grip: Turned dark hardwood or ebony handle, firmly intact.

• Blade: Slender, diamond-section steel blade with an unsharpened ceremonial edge.

• Scabbard: Included original leather/shagreen body scabbard featuring matching brass throat and chape fittings.

Condition Report (As-Is):

This historical artifact is offered in its raw, untouched antique state—highly preferred by collectors. The brass fittings across the hilt and scabbard retain a gorgeous, deep golden-brown aged patina and have never been chemically cleaned or polished. The steel blade displays authentic age-related dark oxidation, spotting, and minor pitting as shown in the photographs. The handle remains structurally sound. The scabbard is complete with typical surface scuffing and leather drying consistent with its 100+ year age.

Please study all high-resolution photographs carefully to evaluate the exact cosmetic condition for yourself.
