Antique compact Holy Bible containing the Old and New Testaments, printed at the Cambridge University Press. The title page identifies it as Minion 24mo, and a printer’s statement names J. B. Peace, M.A. Based on his tenure as University Printer, this copy is estimated to have been printed circa 1916–1923; an exact printing year is not stated.
The Bible has a black textured cover with snap closure and includes a color map of St. Paul’s journeys. It bears a handwritten inscription dated October 4, 1936, when it was gifted to my great-grandfather. The map’s 1896 copyright and the “Unbreakable Back” 1910 patent date are not the Bible’s printing date.
Measures approximately 6 × 4 × 1 inches. The cover has scuffs and worn corners, and the pages show age-related discoloration and handling. Page completeness has not been verified. Please review the photos for condition.
