Antique Colombian silver two-handled bowl, porringer / quaich form, with cast openwork scroll-and-floral handles and a plain polished bowl.
MARKS: Struck on the underside with a crown above a shield containing \"TRP\" over \"BOGOTA\", and separately with \"0.910\". This is a recognized 20th-century Bogota, Colombia workshop mark. The individual silversmith behind the TRP punch has never been publicly identified — it appears in the standard silver-mark references as recorded but unattributed — so this is offered honestly as Colombian silver, workshop unidentified. All marks are photographed. The piece was rub-tested through the surface: solid silver, not plated.
SILVER CONTENT: 178 g gross, marked 0.910 = approx. 162 g / 5.2 troy oz of fine silver. At silver $69.18/ozt that is roughly $360 of metal. Note that 910 is not one of the usual listed finenesses (900, 916, 925, 950), so the mark may denote the .900 coin-silver standard used for Colombian silver; the difference is a few dollars either way and the piece is described and priced on the figure as struck.

CONDITION: Antique / used. Patina and tarnish, darkened areas in the bowl, surface scratches and general age wear. A small area on the underside was lightly rubbed as a metal test. No polishing or restoration has been done. Please review all photos for exact condition and markings.
