Exquisite hand-painted multi-color floral panels, alternating with a vivid cerulean blue glaze base, heavily accented with raised gold scrollwork and a central starburst/hexagonal medallion motif on the lid.
Excellent antique condition. No chips, cracks, flea bites, or structural repairs. Very minimal, normal age-related wear to the fold gilding.The underside is marked with a hand-painted gold cursive 'R' monogram with three dots above, attributed to Helena Wolfsohn.
It measures 3.5" in diameter and approximately 2.25" tall.
