This is an older antique piece by German company Sitzendorf. This is a porcelain decor plaque with a 3D courting couple in love. The wall plaques by Sitzendorf are a bit more scarce than their Dresden figurines. The woman's dress is made of pink and white colored Dresden Lace. The porcelain behind the couple is a matte bisque finish, the exterior rim portion is a higher gloss glazed. The plaque has gilded gold embellishment accents. The Sitzendorf crown mark is on the back. I don't know if there used to be a metal hanger on the back..I don't think there was but I cannot find another to compare it to. There is a hole at the top for hanging or display. From a non-smoking home.
This piece is in very nice condition for its age and has very little wear. The Dresden Lace is in amazing condition for its age, minimal wear. There are no chips or cracks, no fleabites. The gold accenting has minimal fade. Minimal marks on the porcelain.
The size is 7 1/4 inches tall - 5 inches across the middle. 1/2 of an inch sides.
