This is an incrediblesterling silver presentation spoon, likely a commemorative of a hunt orpossibly a shooting trophy as the stem features two shotguns. The top has acoat of arms armorial design – unresearched that could yield some clue to aclub or aristocratic country estate.
Measures4.75 inches long and 0.75 inch wide at the bowl. The spoon is hallmarked London and dated1937, produced by H.P. Weight of spoon alone is approximately 17.9 grams. Aleather and velvet presentation box is included, the spoon has been handledminimally throughout the years and retains sharp details throughout.
