A handsome traditional spouted measure with cylindrical body, flared molded foot, scrolling handle, pouring lip, and substantial old surface patina. The body is stamped “1 QUART” and bears what appears to be an official crowned ER / 350 verification mark, associated with the reign of King Edward VII. The piece also carries an additional small stamped mark, an ornate engraved monogram, and an old hand-engraved script inscription around the interior base. These verification marks were applied to vessels used commercially to confirm that they held the legally prescribed quantity.Approximate dimensions:
