This is an original ca. December 1946 tinplate clockwork ocean liner (\"Baderdampfer\" / Motorschiff No. 526), manufactured by Gebruder Fleischmann (GFN) of Nuremberg, Germany, in the U.S. occupation zone of postwar Germany. The factory label bears the inspection stamp code \"R 54 / 12-46 / G / S 1.-\", dating manufacture to December 1946. The ship measures approximately 20 1/2\" (52 cm) in length.

• Clockwork spring motor winds, holds tension, and runs with a steady, even escapement sound.
• Propeller spins continuously and consistently once wound.
