Beautiful antique pair of Franz Bibus solid .800 silver dinner forks from the Austro-Hungarian period.
Each fork bears the FB maker’s mark for Franz Bibus together with the Austro-Hungarian Diana head assay hallmark with the number 3, indicating .800 silver fineness.
These are substantial full-size dinner/table forks with an elegant traditional European design and excellent weight in hand.

Franz Bibus was a noted Central European silversmith and manufacturer associated with Mährisch-Trübau, today Moravská Třebová in the Czech Republic. The firm produced quality silverware and tableware during the Austro-Hungarian period.
Very nice antique condition with surface scratches, light patina and normal age-related wear consistent with use. No major damage observed. They present beautifully and may benefit from professional polishing depending on personal preference.
