Beautiful, authentic original Art Deco statuette from the 1920s–1930s. The piece depicts a stylized \"Fan Dancer\" featuring classic Art Deco bobbed hair, and a petal/leaf skirt.Era: Circa 1930s (Art Deco Period)Origin: FrenchMaterial: Patinated Spelter with an antique gold/bronze finish.Condition: Fair antique condition. Please note that this piece has been removed from its original marble/onyx base. The original threaded mounting pins are still embedded inside the soles of the feet (see photos). There is minor wear to the gold finish along the edges, revealing the silver-gray spelter underneath, and some light green oxidation near the shoes, which adds to its authentic antique character. Display as is or its the perfect candidate for restoration, custom mounting, or repurposing into a lamp or bookend.
Rare, I have found only one other of this antique fan dancer statue online for over $800 (with base)!
