Offering this Antique cast metal miniature deer figurines were primarily produced in Germany during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
These wonderful small figures were typically crafted from affordable cast metals, often referred to as pot metal, lead, or spelter (a zinc alloy).
Germany was a major global center for toy and novelty metal casting during this period, utilizing molds to mass-produce detailed small animals.
Many authentic antique pieces are stamped with "Germany" on the underside or belly to comply with export and Tariff Act regulations of the early 1900s.
