Striking antique Japanese Satsuma style hand painted Moriage vase in nice condition. This is a very colorful vase featuring 3 figures....2 seated men, possibly immortals, and a woman. The colorful figures are set against a dark ground with gold accents and mountainous scenery. This vase most likely dates to the late 19thc - 1920\'s and was made in Japan ( as the stamp on the base indicates) for export to the US market. You will see that there is a hole that has been made on the underside of the base which indicates that this may have been intended to be converted into a lamp. Please see below for measurements;
