Beautiful antique Northwood Glass water or lemonade set in the Pagoda pattern, also known as Chrysanthemum Sprig - OVER 100 YEARS OLD
This complete six-piece set includes:
• One large handled pitcher
• Five matching tumblers
The set is made from striking opaque turquoise or Pagoda Blue glass. Each piece has a paneled form with raised chrysanthemum flowers, leaves, ornamental bands, and hand-applied gold accents. The pitcher features an elegant scalloped rim, pouring spout, curved handle, and decorative base.
The pitcher bears the Northwood signature. The Pagoda/Chrysanthemum Sprig pattern was introduced around 1899, making this a wonderful example of early American pressed glass.
This set originally belonged to my grandmother and has remained in our family for many years. It has been carefully kept and would make a beautiful display, addition to an antique glass collection, or special family heirloom for its next owner.
There is age-related wear to the gilding, especially around the rims and floral details. Please refer closely to the photographs for the exact condition and decoration remaining on each piece. Sold as is. No returns.
Approximate measurements:
Pitcher: 8 Inches tall
Tumblers: 4 Inches tall
Because of its age and painted decoration, careful hand washing is recommended. Sold as collectible antique glassware.
