Striking and ornate 19th-century Victorian Aesthetic Movement tilting ice water pitcher set by Pairpoint Manufacturing Company features a rare, highly detailed engraving of a spider and its web amongst bamboo and floral foliage, complete with a Gothic \"T\" monogram on an insulated, double-walled body. It also has its original drop-in drip tray, which displays an ornate, finely etched scene of a Japanese cherry bonsai tree in a footed planter. The set is completed by a married, antique quadruple-plated mug from the Meriden Britannia Company (pattern 120) that displays a matching dark, unpolished aged patina. Stamped on the underside of the pitcher base with the classic Pairpoint diamond \"P\" logo, New Bedford, Mass., and model number 1802 1/2, this heavy serving piece retains its smooth swinging mechanism and functional hinged lid.
