This is a true precision/toolroom-class lathe, not a watchmakerlathe and not a light hobby machine. Designed for accurate small workand threading. No motor conversion; appears set up for line-shaft orbelt drive. Original gearing present as shown.
Unrestored, estate condition. Turns freely by hand. Not testedunder power. One leg/foot is shorter than the others by approximately 2inches and will require a spacer to be even with the other legs.Surface rust, patina, and wear consistent with age. Tailstock haswhat looks like a bone handle that is cracked and one side of the brassquill lock lever is bent slight downward. No manufacturer's mark thatI can see.
