This round antique transferware serving dish is a unique addition to any collection. It would make an amazing centerpiece! It features a rich brown transferware pattern called Indus in the Aesthetic Period design with birds, bamboo, and leaves.
Recommend for decor only- may not be food safe.
Maker’s mark: printed on back- RSR (Ridgways, Sparks, & Ridgways) mark. Diamond registration mark indicates 1877 production.
Noted Imperfections: perfectly weathered with heavy discoloration and crazing, light colored scratches from use, glaze imperfections including bubbles. No cracks.
