Beautiful, authentic French Majorlica (Barbotine) figural rooster pitcher produced by renowned Saint-Clement pottery works in France. Good antique condition with hand-painted glazes, proud crowing expression forming the spout and swept tail forming the handle. The bottom features the historical “St. Clement Keller & Guerin” mark in raised lettering along with factory form and model “3/377” dating production from the late 1890s through the 1920s. All over glaze crazing typical of antique majorlica. There are visible hairline stress cracks on the bottom -see pictures. No visible exterior chips when displayed. See pictures for chip on underside of bottom. There are no structural breaks or modern restoration. Please review all pictures to understand overall condition of product.
