Antique Walker & Hall Sheffield Silver Plate Meat Dome Cloche Food Cover 10.5":
$85.00
This magnificent antique British silver-plated meat dome cloche was crafted at the turn of the century by the legendary silversmiths Walker & Hall in Sheffield, England. Measuring 10.5 inches long at the base, it is the perfect size for covering dinner plates or smaller serving platters. The heavy-gauge dome features a classic beaded lower rim trim and a beautifully cast ornate loop handle. The interior handle mounting plate features a crisp, authentic Walker & Hall "W&H Flag" company hallmark alongside style pattern inventory number 1922 and sizing stamp 56. It is presented in its original, unpolished antique condition with a heavy, honest tarnish patina that highlights its long history; it can be polished back up to a brilliant shine or left as-is for a rustic, dark moody farmhouse aesthetic. A gorgeous, dent-free centerpiece for Chinoiserie sideboards, holiday tables, or professional food styling.
