The volume itself is undated and is believed to date to the late 19th century, circa 1880.
A particularly attractive small-format Victorian Bible featuring full black pebbled leather, raised/banded spine decoration, gilt HOLY BIBLE and OXFORD lettering, decorative gilt turn-ins, black endpapers and gilt page edges.

The Bible is printed in compact double-column text and contains both the Old and New Testaments. The New Testament has its own Oxford University Press title page.
Please note: one interior leaf has a tear/chip, as photographed. Light foxing and age-related spotting are also present, particularly at the front and rear.
