🌿 Frame & Details:
The piece is housed in a beautifully detailed carved wood frame with applied leaf corner ornamentation, finished in a rich dark stain and accented by a gilt inner liner. The craftsmanship and materials, along with the presence of early square nails, firmly date this example to the circa 1885–1905 period.
🪟 Glass & Print:
The print appears to be an original period chromolithograph, protected behind its original glass with visible seed bubbles, a wonderful authenticity detail prized by collectors.

⚠️ Condition:
There is damage to the frame at the top left corner, where part of the projecting frame element is broken off, and at the bottom right corner, where there is a visible split to the projecting frame element. This is clearly shown in the photos. Despite this, the frame remains solid and retains strong decorative presence. The gilt liner shows oxidation and age spotting, and the piece shows overall wear consistent with age.
