Description: This sweet little linen sewing kit, likely dating from 1890 - 1910, is made of linen with red silk trim. It features a ring of thread spools in white, red and black; a sweet little attached tomato pin cushion with a red silk bow; a tiny emery with red thread seeds and cap (some wear to outer silk), a small pair of stork scissors, marked Germany, and a couple ribbon bodkins. The sewing kit is unused, and has been wonderfully preserved in a c. 1900s linen box. The box is likely not original (it's marked "blue linen"), but it has preserved the piece over the years. What a sweet and colorful addition to your antique sewing kit / sewing primitives collection.
Condition: In very good, unused condition; the only wear is the outer covering of the emery; it does not appear to be leaking. (See photos.)
