Antique reusable hypodermic syringe set dating approximately to the 1910s–1930s, likely circa 1920s. Record-type construction with glass barrel enclosed in a metal frame, metal plunger assembly and threaded needle fitting. Includes fitted hard case with purple fabric lining, syringe, hypodermic needle and small accessory/fitting shown.
No manufacturer or country-of-origin markings have been located. Metal components show tarnish, oxidation and discoloration from age. Glass shows internal residue/discoloration. Case has considerable exterior wear, finish loss and edge wear, with age-related wear to the interior lining.
