This beautiful Native American Santa Clara Pottery Vase was traditionally crafted by the talented artisan Vicki Martinez.She is a traditional pottery artist of the Bear Clan from Santa Clara Pueblo. She learned the craft at the seat of her mother, Barbara Martinez. She was inspired to continue with the traditions of her mother and ancestors.It is the hand coiled black on black with deeply carved Avanyu serpent wrapping around the pot with a geometric border. It is polished black with matte accents. A stunning piece of her history.This unique piece is a larger version than most; almost 5 1/2\" wide and stands 4\" tall. The opening is as wide as the vase is tall.
