This is our version of the iconic early \'50s Telecaster / Precision Bass pickup. Built with authentic Forbon bobbins, traditional string wrapping, and vintage-style cloth pushback lead wires, it delivers a clean, powerful tone that covers an incredible amount of musical ground. Featuring a subtle midrange scoop paired with a woody growl, clear treble definition, and a tight, fat bottom end, it is one of our all-time favorite bass pickups to play. Roll the tone knob off just a bit, and you’re instantly transported to the legendary tracks this style of pickup made famous—including almost every classic ZZ Top recording featuring Dusty Hill.
