Wagner (1938–2011), was a prominent American wildlife and western sculptor who operated his own private fine art foundry called Hurricane Hill Art Works. His studio and foundry were located in Salida Colorado.Wagner personally oversaw the entire casting and finishing process for his limited runs right out of his Colorado workshop, making these pieces authentic examples of 20th-century American studio art.Unique, two-piece lot featuring the iconic Art Deco \"Leaping Horse\" design by renowned artist C.G. Wagner. This lot includes one premium, low-edition numbered paperweight on its original onyx base and one standalone cold-cast bronze signed plaque from 1986.
