Up for sale is NEW priced per 5 foot Carol 16084 Premium Carolprene 4/4C UL/CSA SOOW Portable Power Cord. It hasx4 4awg premium 90C EPDM (Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer Rubber) insulated color-coded stranded (133x25rope-bunched stranding)bare copper conductors, cabled/twisted with fillers, then wrapped in a low friction paper tape separator, all in a black premium Carolprene jacket. Made in the USA.See specs below. SOOW rated to 600V, 90C. UL Listed.

This is the UL listed version of this cable, which is significantly more expensive than non-UL versions. To fulfill UL specs the cable is much thicker (the insulating and outer jackets are significantly thicker) even though the copper conductors themselves are the same size (4awg). Many larger conductor power cords (#6 and larger) are available in both UL listed and non-UL versions because of the high cost to meet the UL specs which become more and more significant as the wire awg increases in terms of insulation thickness needed. Non-UL versions are more suited for temporary usage when connected to generators and the like and are generally not approved to be wired into mains power, so it\'s always a good idea to check for the UL/CSA markings on your power cord. If there are no UL markings on the cable legend, it is not UL certified.

This is NEW bulk cable that is priced by the 5 foot of length and will be cut to theitem quantity ordered x 5 feet(one continuous length of cable will be shipped corresponding to the length per item x the quantityordered).
