Circa 1900 - 1919, this charming embroidered coverlet is entirely hand sewn! 80 hand embroidered blocks depict nursery rhymes, farm animals, \"Mary Had A Little Lamb\", Cows, Fish, and the name \"Katie\". The hand embroidered blocks are joined together with well executed red hand done feather stitching.
I think the embroidered stories are particularly charming.
It would be a wonderful piece to hang on a wall as you would a painting and be able to admire the embroidery every day. Or, use it as a charming bed covering.
