This was acquired years ago from the legendary Chax Knives custom knife shop in Long Lake, NY in the Adirondack Mountains.Chase Axinn was the owner and the artist who forged this knife. I believe he is retired and the shop has since closed. This makes this knife extremely rare and highly sought after.The blade is made of 440C stainless steel abd is 4.75 inches long. The entire knife and handle is 8.75 inches long combined. Full tang of course.The knife has never been used. It does show a few signs of sheath wear marks from taking it in and out if the sheath to look at it. These light marks were there in the blade the day it was bought at the shop. Likely from Chase\'s customers looking at his inventory.This also comes with a custom kydex sheath that Chase Axinn also hand made, custom for this knife.
