China 1940-41 Great Wall Airmail Complete Set
Complete Republic of China Great Wall airmail set from the later Hong Kong printing byThe Commercial Press Ltd.
The ten stamps feature an aircraft flying over the Great Wall of China and include all denominations from 15c through $5.
All 10 stamps retain original sheet selvage. Several margins show Commercial Press printer imprints and control markings, while others retain Chinese marginal inscriptions.
Mint Never Hinged (MNH) with original gum. Strong colors and intact perforations. Natural age and gum variation is visible on the reverse.
This Hong Kong printing exists in both watermarked and unwatermarked forms. Watermark status has not been independently verified, so no specific Scott range is represented here.
