Vintage Seiko Joyful ladies automatic watch, reference 2206-0440.
The movement has been bench tested, quickset and time setting operational
***It starts and runs strongly, but during testing it STOPPED unexpectedly and did not restart until the balance was lightly nudged. It then resumed running strongly.***
Because of this intermittent behaviour, the watch is NOT being sold as a reliable running watch.
This is a very well-preserved collector example with its original period Seiko Joyful tags, including the original ¥17,500 retail price tag. Stand included.

Condition:
Very good vintage cosmetic condition overall, with light storage and handling marks consistent with age, esp the case back . Looks like old fingerprint marks on the clasp.
The movement has not been serviced and the exact cause of the intermittent stopping has not been diagnosed.
A full mechanical service is recommended before regular use.
Best suited to a collector, watchmaker, or buyer prepared to have the movement serviced.
