This ERP Replacement Whirlpool Timer helps to restore the performance of your electric dryer. This high-quality timer controls the amount of time that the dryer runs, depending upon the setting that is used.
Symptoms of a bad timer:
- The timer does not advance cycles.
- The dryer will not heat.
This ERP replacement part is sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is compatible with electric dryers manufactured by Whirlpool, Inglis, Crosley, and Maytag.
To install: Remove the six control panel screws and pull off the knob. Avoid removing wires yet; transfer them one by one to the new timer to prevent cross-wiring. Remove the two 1/4 inch hex screws securing the timer, allowing enough slack to transfer wires. After all of the wires are transferred, reinstall the hex screws, knob, and back panel. Test the unit. Remember to use caution when performing any repairs or maintenance on your appliance.
