This is an investment-grade heirloom piece that is both structurally sound and absolutely stunning. Double layered construction at the bottom. It is highly wearable for modern use as a summer dress, bridal getting-ready gown, or historical collector's piece.
Beautiful Period Details:
* **Tatted/Tape Lace Medallion:** Features an exquisite, handmade circular floral lace medallion on the front panel.
* **Dimensional Whitework Embroidery:** Gorgeous, raised satin-stitched ribbon bow motifs and trailing floral vines adorn the outer layer.
* **Panel Insertion Lace:** Beautiful geometric filet and bobbin lace inserts connecting the horizontal panels to add elegant texture and weight to the skirt.
* **Classic Neckline:** A delicate scoop neckline trimmed in fine antique lace.
Condition:
Pristine antique condition. This garment has been exceptionally well-preserved over the last 110+ years. There is absolutely NO dry rot, fabric shattering, rust spots, pinholes, or yellowing. The cotton is sturdy, crisp, and ready to be worn or displayed.
