Issuing Authority / Mint Location: Erythrae, Ionia (Greek city-state on the west coast of Asia Minor).
Date of Minting: Late Classical to Early Hellenistic Period, c. 325 – 290 BC.
Denomination: Silver Drachm (or Siglos/Triobol standard depending on regional weight classification; 3.50g fits the Reduced Persian/Rhodian standard drachm series of Erythrae).

Obverse Design: Head of young Herakles facing right, wearing the lion skin headdress with paws tied beneath his chin.
Reverse Design: Club above bowcase with bow inside; magistrate name ΧΑΡΜΗΣ (Charmês) horizontally in center field; ethnic abbreviation ΕΡΥ (ERY) above club; control symbol (owl standing left, head facing) in left field.

Obverse: Strong, well-centered strike showing bold details in the mane, snout, and eye of the lion skin. Moderate wear across the high points of Herakles\' cheek and eyebrow. Tone is a pleasing steel-gray with dark cabinet toning in the recesses.
Reverse: Clear, legible magistrate inscription ΧΑΡΜΗΣ (Charmês). Distinct club and bowcase detail. Off-center slightly to the top, showing light surface granularity and minor pitting near the top edge, consistent with age-appropriate silver alloy corrosion.

Rarity Classification: Uncommon / Scarce Magistrate Type.

While the Herakles / Club-Bowcase series from Erythrae is relatively standard for Ionian silver fractionals of the late 4th century BC, specific magistrate names like ΧΑΡΜΗΣ appear less frequently at major public sales compared to common civic issues.
High-grade silver drachms from Erythrae with full, crisp magistrate signatures and clear secondary control symbols (owl) command a modest collector premium.
