Authentic Ethan Currier hand-carved granite puzzle sculpture, signed/artist-marked and dated 2014.
This is an original interactive granite puzzle sculpture by Ethan Currier, purchased directly from the artist on Bainbridge Island, Washington in 2014.
This piece is a wonderful example of Currier’s distinctive puzzle-based stone work — a natural granite form that separates into multiple fitted sections and reassembles into a sculptural rounded shape. It functions as both a modern abstract stone sculpture and a tactile interlocking puzzle, making it equally compelling as a collector’s object, conversation piece, or desk/shelf sculpture.
Unlike the first piece, this one has a more rugged, raw, naturally weathered exterior texture, giving it a stronger “found stone” / organic river-rock feel while still revealing the precisely carved interior geometry when opened.

Very good pre-owned condition with light wear consistent with age, handling, and display. No obvious repairs noted. Natural stone variation, rough organic surface texture, hand-carved tool marks, and minor irregularities are part of the intended artistic character.
