Exceptional Original - Narcotics Anonymous Gray Book & Approval Form (\"Slickie\") For Sale

\"Gray Book\" - This is an original Narcotics Anonymous Basic Text distributed manuscript sent for Fellowship review and input in 1981. Memphis conference report indicates 1,200 copies printed and sent to 600 groups. Many that survive are missing the corrections and input form used to respond to the committee and suggest changes or have significant markings, writings, and wear. This copy is fully in-tact and appears to have been minimally handled. Unusually, the plastic ring binding is in excellent shape and pictures were carefully taken to distinguish this copy\'s preservation comparative to the typical binding wear seen on most surviving copies. It is almost certain that one will not find a circulating copy this well preserved in the open market. It was received and stored by the original recipient since 1981 in a careful manner and brought out to be sold when the person retired to travel the world on a boat.
\"Slickie\" - Included with this package is the Approval Form (aka \"Slickie), which was subsequently sent out after all Fellowship response was received back from the manuscripts and was presented to the Fellowhip as the final draft of the Basic Text (without stories) ready for publication. Similarly, this text is in excellent condition. It remains glossy and the edges and corners are still sharp. Another instance of rare condition for any document produced during this young era of Narcotics Anonymous.
