Exeter in 1830 by William G. Perry was originally published in 1913 and Exeter in 1776 by Charles H. Bell was originally published in 1876. This facsimile reprint combines both works and includes a new introduction and additional notes by Nancy C. Merrill, two new maps researched by Mrs. Merrill and drawn by Ted Reynolds, and new indexes by Jacqueline Donegan. The photographs were provided courtesy of the Exeter Historical Society. The facsimile of the Exeter Morning Chronicle is courtesy of the New Hampshire Historical Society.

Printed in the United States of edges have a stain along the side (see last photo). The book covers are teal with gold gilt lettering. There are a few, very faint, white splotches on the front cover. The interior of the book is nice and clean. Binding is nice and tight. The attached, folded single page of maps & newspaper in the back of the book is also in excellent condition.
