Fantastic Art, Dada, Surrealism edited by and with a Preface to the first edition and Introduction by Alfred H. Barr, Jr., and essays by Georges Hugnet. First published in 1936, this is the 2nd Edition, revised and enlarged, July 1937. The Museum of Modern Art, New York. 7.75 x 10.25 with 294 pages and richly illustrated with black and white images. A very good hardcover with light sunning to the spine and some wear along the green cloth spine tips and edges. Heavy foxing to the front/back endpapers. Front end paper is split but still intact as are all other pages. Previous owner’s name written in ink: “SG Wiener” or Samuel G. Wiener Jr., the notable artist and son of Samuel G. Wiener, the pioneering Shreveport modernist painter and architect.
