Finely Chased Silvered Bronze Jewelry Box – Napoleon III Era (c. 1860–1880) It is 7 1/4” wide 5” deep and 4 1/4” high

Bronze ciselé = chased or finely chiseled bronze (decoratively hand-worked).

* Argenté = silvered or silver-plated (a silver finish over the bronze, not solid silver).

* Époque Napoléon III = Napoleon III period, referring to the French Second Empire (1852–1870), though objects in this style are often dated broadly to 1860–1880.

Please note key not included and lock is not currently functional. Silver finish has worn down over time and there are some slight imperfections shown.
