Enjoy the nostalgia of VHS with this fully serviced and tested RCA VR704HF VHS VCR player/recorder with remote control(Remote is new old stock, I recently opened the remote package to test with the VCR). In the late 1990’s - early 2000’s, RCA made all of their products to work with one remote control - Directv, VCR, TV. That’s the reason the remote is labeled Directv.
I replaced the belt. All heads and tape path components have been cleaned. The mode switch has been taken apart, cleaned and lubricated. All internal operating mechanisms have been cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted as required.
There are scratches and scuffs on the top of the VCR. Includes an A/V cable and six VHS movies. All the VHS tapes have been played on this VCR. (Some of the tapes aren’t perfect, but they’re watchable). I’m also including an RF cable to use for channel 3 or 4 if so desired.
No batteries or instructions included. Will be packed very securely to ensure no damage during shipping.
This is a high quality VCR made in Mexico in the year 2000. After servicing, the VCR was tested thoroughly in playback and recording modes SP and SLP to ensure reliable service.
I worked for a tv repair shop for over 20 years and sold these same model VCR’s when they were new. I enjoy repairing VCR’s on the side now, one at a time which usually takes about two weeks in my spare time. There is no markup for shipping. The shipping cost that is quoted is exactly what it cost to ship with the discount. I provide the packing materials at no charge.
