The plaque reproduces the ancient “Fresco of the Lilies” imagery associated with Bronze Age Thera and is individually hand painted in blue, yellow, red, black and cream tones.
The piece is made from a heavy, dense cast-stone/mineral composition rather than conventional ceramic. The recessed molded back incorporates an embedded metal hanging bar for wall display.
The aged appearance of the front—including simulated cracking/craquelure, mottling, distressed borders and areas resembling ancient surface wear—is intentional and part of the original fresco-reproduction treatment.

Very good vintage condition overall with no major structural damage observed. There may be minor handling and storage wear consistent with age. Please examine all photographs closely, as they form an important part of the condition description.
