The Firing Pin Spacer Sleeve (SP00056) fits on the lug of the firing pin. It is what properly spaces the travel for the striker/firing pin. This should not be confused with the striker channel liner. This is not an item that generally goes bad, but is an essential item. Some people like to keep spares on hand just in case.
