This is a beautifully decorated antique Georgian sterling silver .925 serving or sugar sifter ladle with a gilt bowl. It was made in London in 1806, likely by the well respected and silversmith Solomon Hougham. The bowl has fluted edges, is gilded, pierced and decorated with repousse fruit shapes on a foliage background. The handle has lovely a bright cut decoration and there is a blank cartouche at the top with no monogram monogram.
