George Russin (American, 1910-2020) Original Samurai Painting -41x25” Framed For Sale

The product is an original samurai warrior painting by American artist George Russin, created in the 1970s. This medium-sized oil painting on wood features vibrant multi-color hues and is framed for display. Signed by the artist, this vintage piece is a one-of-a-kind work that showcases Russin's skilled craftsmanship and unique style. Made in the United States, this handmade painting captures the essence of a samurai warrior, making it a valuable addition to any art collection. It is in very good condition and has been well taken care of over the years. It is signed on the front in the lower right hand corner and is oil on wood panel. The back is covered, so I’m not certain if there is writing on the back of the piece? It is beautifully framed, and the frame is in overall good condition. There is a vinyl like material between the painting and the outer frame and as you can see from the photos has come loose a bit and certain areas. The painting itself measures approximately 12 1/4 x 27 1/4“, and framed it measures approximately 41 x 25“. The previous owner had it appraised in the 1970s and I will include a copy of it with the painting. I do have other painting by the artist which is described in the appraisal that I will be listing also. Thanks for your interest.
