For sale is a German WWI M1914 Bayonet, Sawback verson, made by Samson Werk, with scabbardI know very little about this piece.There\'s a lot of information online- everything you\'d ever want to know.It was very controversial at the time and at some point it was supposedly considered a war crime if used to kill someone.Most were turned in and the saw edge removed.This one is in very nice condition.The blade itself has very little staining and wear.
The lock button slides in and out nicely.
The pommel and guard have moderate rust.
The scabbard is dented and has heavy rust pitting - no paint, has original screw.
