Old Grandmother’s Fan quilt with 54 colorful patchwork fans, light blue accents, a cream background, and a cream backing. The varied prints and hand quilting give it plenty of character. It could be repaired for display or used as a cutter quilt for sewing and textile projects.
Condition:
This is a well-worn quilt. Six of the 54 fans have noticeable tears, including one larger opening where some of the inner filling is coming out. There is staining on both the front and back, along with general fabric wear. I soaked it in a bathtub and washed it gently; the remaining stains did not come out.
