The 1953 is Gucci\'s original horsebit loafer: soft, unstructured moccasin construction with a hand-stitched apron toe, leather lining, stacked leather heel, and leather sole. The insoles carry the Gucci crest label reading \"Gucci 1953 Made in Italy,\" and both soles are stamped GUCCI made in Italy, size 11.
COLOR: These are black. Indoor lighting in some photos gives the leather a bluish cast.
SIZE: Stamped 11 on both soles. Gucci sizing generally runs a half to a full size larger than US sizing, so this typically fits a US 11.5 to 12.
CONDITION: Pre-owned from an estate, with honest wear shown in the photos. The uppers are in good shape, with normal creasing across the vamps and some wrinkling and light scuffing along the toe sides. The horsebit hardware is intact and secure, with light wear. The interior labels are clean and fully legible, and the footbeds show light wear. The leather soles show wear and surface marks but have plenty of life left.
